Sarah McDermott and her husband Sean set up their furnished holiday let business, Maison Parfaite back in 2018. They started out by focusing on their first company-owned BTL and a house in multiple occupations (HMO), but Sarah confesses this left her feeling unfulfilled, and then came the light bulb moment: furnished holiday lets! By the autumn of 2018, they had purchased their first UK holiday home in the Yorkshire Dales and so began their love affair with serviced accommodation.
Fast forward to 2024 and Sarah has now built an eight-figure portfolio and a seven-figure annual income in just 5 years. With the property business continuing to thrive and grow, Sarah is now able to fulfil her passion for helping others achieve similar success. As Sarah says, “If we can do it, starting from nothing, there’s absolutely no reason why you can’t do it too.”
